The Complex

Malta National Aquarium

Inaugurated in 2013, the Malta National Aquarium boasts over 20,000 square metres. and comprises of 49 tanks, including Mediterranean and tropical marine life, reptiles and amphibians, together with replicas of historical artefacts belonging to the sea surrounding the Maltese archipelago.

Pjazza San Pawl

Pjazza San Pawl, also known as St. Paul’s Square, is the large open space in front of the Malta National Aquarium. It offers panoramic views of the Mediterranean sea. A food & beverage kiosk is also situated in the middle of the pjazza, serving a variety of snacks, coffees, liqueurs, ice creams, baguettes, ciabattas and drinks.

The Playground

La Nave Bistro is perfect for families with children, as our unique nautical playground is housed by the side of the Pjazza where children can slide down our submarine or go up to the heights of our octopus cage, amongst various other escapades.

Café del Mar Malta

Café del Mar Malta sits magnificently at the water’s edge. The design is all about the sea and Mediterranean sunsets. The infinity pool reaches out into the clear blue waters. The seating area and pool deck have unobstructed panoramic views of the sea. The design is simple, pre- dominantly white to fully compliment the natural beauty of the surroundings.
